Education in palatable and digestible morsels...
Medical education has come a long way from its formalisation. Although the duration of courses have remained unchanged, the content to be understood and learned has increased many folds over the years. It is difficult to spend time over the concepts and theory in the short number of classes conducted formally at most of the medical colleges.
We at Eyeris Education, are academically motivated private practitioners who want to share their knowledge to the student community. After accumulating feedback, we decided to plan our academic endeavours in a new model (As described in the methodology below). This model is suitable for both the teachers and students. Here, we intend to cover the medical curriculum in a manner which would help the student gain conceptual background of the topic and and also focus on the clinical aspects of the topic, including clinical evaluation, investigations and management. In addition, we hope that this endeavour of ours will help the students appearing for their final exams (theory, practical) as well as PG entrance exams.
Classes will be conducted on Sundays (and sometimes holidays) at Sainikpuri location. A schedule will be made in advance and the topics and timings with the details of the instructor will be intimated to you by our webpage / whatsapp / SMS / email once you register for our classes. Confirmation of attendance need to be provided at least a day in advance (i.e. Saturday for Sunday class). Each class will be of a duration of 01 to 02 hours and will be primarily utilising the age-old method of chalk and black board. The target is to make the student understand the concept rather than just cover the theory. Also, we do not provide any printed material. We wish (but not binding) that the only books you bring into the class is a fresh and open mind to take notes. When your exams are near, we will also be conducting question paper discussion from previous years.
In our busy schedule, availability of time is a premium. It is not possible to predict whether you will find time for a particular class. We understand. Therefore, we will be charging you per class only. You are free to go through the schedule anytime and when you find a topic of your interest, confirm your attendance latest by a day prior, pay the cost of the class online and walk in for the class the next day. The cost of each class will be provided in the schedule. Kindly note that once confirmed and paid, it cannot be cancelled.
The payments can be done by Google Pay to 9381193029 or VPA handle eyeris@icici by any UPI supported app.
